Box Filters

The first high-efficiency box filter was invented — by AAF — 60 years ago. Today we’ve advanced these filters to provide a high level of protection in a small footprint. These box filters can reduce fine contaminants in critical applications and protect against small particles that carry viruses and bacteria. The space-saving design helps reduce costs of shipping, storage and handling.

Bag Filters

AAF invented the bag-style filter and has continued innovating ever since. Today, thanks to several patented systems, our bag filters provide improved efficiency, long-lasting filtration and easy installation. The filters are designed to remove airborne particulates and tested to meet strict standards of performance. Options are available for a wide range of environments, from mining and industrial applications to healthcare and hospitality.

High-Temperature Filters

AAF uses durable, heat-resistant materials in filters specially designed for high-temperature environments. These filters remove airborne contaminants to protect processes that use hot air, including food processing and photography. Components are made of materials that stand up to high temperatures. Mechanical interlocking means no glues or sealants are needed. The result is filtration performance that’s resistant to damage and degradation.

Media Pads & Rolls

Synthetic filtration media is often needed or preferred. An intricate fiber structure can hold more dirt with less resistance. AAF offers a range of media in pads and rolls designed to remove contaminants in critical environments — from schools and universities to paint spraying booths and weaving rooms.

Panel Filters

AAF has developed panel filters suited for many commercial environments. Disposable filters are economical and easy to install for commercial buildings. Washable and reusable filters are simple to maintain and stand up to use in conditions where high temperatures and moisture are a concern. These filters offer many options, including a choice of media and frame materials and special sizes.

Pleated Filters

Filtration media is pleated to increase the surface area and density of a filter, giving it more room to reduce airborne contaminants. The result is a filter designed to last longer and reduce maintenance. AAF filters offering low initial resistance and high capacity for holding dust can reduce energy usage to control operating costs. Options are available to remove contaminants everywhere from pharmaceutical and healthcare facilities to agriculture and firing ranges.

V-Bank Filters

AAF offers V-Bank filters that extend the surface area of a standard filter without increasing the filter size. High dust-holding capacity allows a longer filter life to reduce maintenance time and cost. Our V-bank filters are suitable for many applications, including green building projects.
BioCel I

BioCel® I

The BioCel I provides near-HEPA level filtration of fine airborne contaminants for critical applications where very clean air is required. Choose it for pharmaceutical plants, hospitals and food and beverage production sites. The BioCel I can replace less efficient box-style filters without needing special frames or latches.
BioCell M Pak

BioCel® M-Pak

The BiolCel M-Pak filter provides excellent protection against small particles, including those carrying viruses and bacteria. It offers MERV 16 efficiency in a compact, 6" deep design. The smaller footprint can help reduce costs of shipping, storage and handling.

The PrecisionCell III is a lightweight and low-resistance filter that dramatically reduces in-line space requirements for high-efficiency filtration. It is durable, moisture-resistant and designed to help reduce energy costs.

VariCel®

The VariCel filter is designed for reliable, long-lasting performance under difficult operating conditions. The open header design helps keep dirty air from bypassing the filter and allows safe, easy handling for a wide variety of applications.

VariCel® 2+ HC

The VariCel 2+ HC is a compact, high-efficiency filter designed to help reduce energy and operating costs when upgrading from pleated filters. It's lightweight and easy to install, so it's ideal for systems with limited space for access.
2 plus SC

VariCel® 2+ SC

The VariCel 2+ SC is a lightweight, durable and energy-efficient filter that's an upgrade from standard, 4-inch pleated filters. Designed to perform in difficult operating conditions, it also has a slim profile to help cut shipping, storage and disposal costs. 
Varicel II

VariCel® II

The VariCel II filter provides high-efficiency filtration in a space-saving design. It's ideal for systems with a reduced footprint, variable air volume and turbulent airflow. This filter was designed without metal components so it can be fully incinerated. 
VariCel II MH

VariCel® II MH

Compared to the standard VariCel II, the VariCel II MH adds a rugged, galvanized steel frame to increase strength and installation options. It was designed to perform well under difficult conditions with a slim design to help lower costs of shipping, storage and handling.
M-Pak

VariCel® M-Pak

The VariCel M-Pak filter offers the same media area as traditional 12" deep box filters in a 6" deep design. The result is comparable efficiency and performance in half the footprint. Sturdy cell sides and dual-density media add to the durability and dust-holding capacity, so the filter lasts longer.
RF with header

VariCel® RF

The VariCel RF filter is a durable, high-performance choice for variable air volume systems and applications with repeated fan shutdowns. The media resists moisture and has a metal backing for support. A range of designs is available for simple installation.
