This company has one of its flagship restaurants in an exclusive location — in Paris, France on the Avenue des Champs Elysées. Situated near many famous sites in the city center and renowned for its architecture and scope, it’s vital that the location maintains its public image.
Yet there were concerns. Air filtration issues — including complaints from neighboring offices about pungent odors from cooking oil — were obvious. Engineering consulting company Secath Concept contacted AAF for a solution.
Rather than simply offering odor-control gas-phase filters, AAF filtration experts completed a comprehensive technical audit.
Key findings:
Together, AAF and partner Secath Concept recommended the installation of a multi-stage filtration solution. The system would need to filter not only particles but the gaseous contaminants responsible for the problem odors. The analysis determined that the chemical filtration stage of the system needed to filter nitrogen oxide (NO2), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and ozone (O3).
